FIP Promotions India Paddle Open is all set for an exciting final

On the final day of the FIP Promotion India Padel Open, the Spanish pair of Anize Santamaria Landa – Aitana Solon Domenech and Pol Alsina – Edu Altimeres Rosas dominated the men’s and women’s doubles categories at India’s first international padel tournament. , In both the men’s and women’s categories, the Spaniards will face Kotomi Ozawa (Japan) – Elisabeth Nogueras Lorenz (Spain) and Arthur Hugonck – Thomas Saxe (France) respectively. The final to be held on November 24 will be played at Bennett University’s state-of-the-art paddle courts from 3 pm onwards. The three-day tournament is being organized by Padel League Private Limited (a subsidiary of PTL Sports Group) in association with The Times Group. ,

The third day of the FIP Promotions India Paddle Open witnessed high-octane quarterfinal and semi-final encounters with extraordinary performances on Center Court and beyond. Spain’s Anies S. in the women’s semi-finals. Landa and Aitana Domenech played a tough game and defeated Indo-Iranian pair Tulsi Mehta and Banafsheh Shahpar in straight sets 6-0, 6-0, while in the other semi-final in the women’s category, Japan’s Kotomi Ozawa and Spain’s Elizabeth Nogueras Lorenz stunned Defeated Balu and Prerna Pratap 6-1. 6-2.

In the men’s semi-final category, the Spanish pair of Pol Alsina and Edu Altimeres Rosas defeated the Swedish pair of Arya Rogani and Hami Golestan 6-4, 6-1. Whereas, France’s Arthur Hugonnec and Thomas Seuix reached the final with an easy 6-0, 6-2 win over the Indian pair of Chaitanya Shah and Vikram Shah.

Earlier, the day started with the quarterfinal round which saw some great performances in both the men’s and women’s categories. In the women’s quarter-finals, Spain’s Anige Santamaria Landa and Aitana Solan Domenech booked their place in the semi-finals with a 6-0, 6-1 win over India’s Jenai Sanghai and Vaibhavi Deshmukh. Sharmada Balu and Prerna Pratap from India advanced via walkover, while Tulsi Mehta (India) and Banafsheh Moradi Shahpar (Iran) defeated Mahek Advani and Navya Loshali (India) 6-0, 6-0. Kotomi Ozawa (Japan) and Elisabeth Nogueras Lorenz (Spain) earned identical wins over Chaitali Narde and Stasha Buddhala (India) 6-0, 6-0.

In the men’s quarterfinals, Pol Alsina and Edu Altimeres Ros (Spain) defeated compatriots Sergi Guimet Bigas and Joel Oliveira Palaios 6–4, 6–1. Chaitanya Shah and Vikram Shah (India) defeated Aryan Goves and Rahul Motwani (India) 6-3, 2-6, 6-3, while Arya Roghani (Iran) and Hami Golestan (Sweden) defeated Mohit. Dahiya (India) and Marc Berniles Garcia (Spain) 6-4, 6-3. Arthur Hugonnec and Thomas Seuux (France) continued their dominance by defeating Arjun Uppal and Rishi Kapoor (India) 6-0, 6-0.

Day four of the FIP Promotion India Paddle Open came to an exciting conclusion with the tournament’s top teams battling for glory. The women’s final pits Anise Santamaría Landa and Aitana Solan Domenech (Spain) against Kotomi Ozawa (Japan) and Elisabeth Nogueras Lorenz (Spain), in what promises to be a clash of skills and tactics. In the men’s final, Pol Alsina and Edu Altimeres Ros (Spain) will face French powerhouse pair Arthur Hugonck and Thomas Sex in what is set to be a thrilling encounter.
